Summerville, SC local, Justin Hodge is a powerful Acoustic guitarist known for playing in the band Ellen Drive. From great lead playing to impressive fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing, Justin Hodge is known for stopping a crowd with his craft. His renderings of popular and original melodies are crisp and practiced. The listener can certainly tell that music is Justin's skill and great passion.

Wings Weekly asked Justin seven questions:

1. Why Music? JH: My brother put a guitar in my hands when I was 11. I was big into math. He explained that the guitar and music is a big math puzzle.

2. What is Profit? JH: Profit is a gain due to my productivity.

3. Which do you prefer; Birds or Lizards? JH: No preference really, I guess lizards. Easier to see coming.

4. Which do you prefer; live or prerecorded music? JH: Prerecorded for its cleanliness. Live for its presence. But live after prerecorded is great to see the artistry of the artist.

5. Which do you prefer: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner? JH: Lunch I suppose. I can usually wake up and get things done. The middle of the day is when I find myself hungry. Breakfast and dinner is a luxury, but lunch is a necessity.

6. What stops you in your tracks, musically? JH: I’m pretty numb, so when I am feeling a certain way, it’s all of it together if the message is sent correctly.

7. If every ear would hear your song, about what would you sing? JH: Freedom and prosperity, and what we believe it to be is mostly a façade. Songs should reflect the love we should always have for one another.
